ReCultivation – A Personal Experience

Our intention is to let you experience the rhythm of nature, what and why it is helpful to follow this rhythm.

It’s an invitation as Pina says: „When we started growing our plants at Finca Alkimia, it was indeed as life began new. It began for us a still exciting time because nature and plants have their own rhythm which must be observed. This gives us pleasure to this day, even if there are some clear steps and flexible response to follow.“

Here we would like to share with you what is helpful and necessary for food and remedies from your own garden. And nature is not a waste, it support us when we use it in a right way, a way of respect to the rhythm of nature. In other words: Our individual contribution is important, but real success comes where many hands work and learn together with nature. This is our invitation to you.

Personal Natural Move

One time a word from Hawaii flew to me that aptly reflects this new kind of collaboration – Malama. „Malama i ka ainai“ means care for the land. Inspiring-hands-on, resonating in intonation, it came across. Focusing on both the needs of the individual and of nature it has touched. That made me curious how the work along the principles of nature can have an effect for the daily life. For Food Gardening and self-suffiency as well as for the personal well-being.

This above quote was one of the inspiration for launching ReCultivation Ecotour & Brunch. It’s a discovery tour what nature cycle means practically, with inspiring topics and building relationships to land and island, to flora and fauna – with experience of planting, harvesting and brunch. Finca Alkimia is one destination with interactive steps, other destinations will follow for „Make a Move with Nature“.
